Private postpartum strength training in Madrid for new mothers who have received medical clearance and want to return to movement safely, confidently, and at their own pace.
Postpartum training with Julie is available after appropriate medical clearance. Sessions are designed to be gentle, progressive, and deeply respectful of where your body is right now — not where it was, and not where it 'should' be.
This is not a bounce-back program.
Your body has done something extraordinary. Training should honour that — not rush past it.
Julie's postpartum sessions begin at your current capacity and progress only when your body is ready. The goal is strength, steadiness, and confidence — on your timeline.
Julie works with awareness of pelvic floor function and trains in ways that support — not strain — your recovery.
Safe, progressive core work that rebuilds deep abdominal and spinal stability without inappropriate intra-abdominal pressure.
Sessions are adapted for clients with diastasis recti, working within safe ranges and avoiding contraindicated loading.
Correction of postural changes from pregnancy and nursing — including forward head position, thoracic rounding, and hip imbalances.
Progressive, low-load strength work that rebuilds the body's foundation carefully — without rushing the process.
Restoring hip stability and glute strength — foundational to pelvic health, lower back support, and functional daily movement.
Breath work to restore optimal intra-abdominal pressure management and reduce chronic tension accumulated during pregnancy.
Sessions that respect the reality of postpartum fatigue. Progress is measured in consistency, not intensity.
Training focused on capability, not appearance. Sessions are designed to help you feel strong, grounded, and at home in your body again.
Julie requires medical clearance before beginning postpartum training. This typically means a six-week postnatal check from your GP or midwife, or clearance from your physiotherapist if you have specific pelvic floor or diastasis concerns.
Julie does not provide physiotherapy, medical rehabilitation, or clinical assessment. Her postpartum sessions are personal training — thoughtful, careful, and built around your body's current capacity.
A note on pelvic floor health
If you are experiencing pelvic floor symptoms such as leaking, heaviness, pressure, or discomfort, please consult a pelvic floor physiotherapist before beginning a postpartum fitness program. Julie can continue to support your strength and mobility in coordination with your pelvic floor therapist's recommendations.
The same hourly rates apply to every service — private, in-home, recovery and mobility, women's strength, postpartum, and older adult training.
